We used, 'Blood Scab'(purchased from a shop called Pairs) to make the character of Tommie to appear to have been tortured. We also used fake blood which we made in a previous post to create a, 'torture' chair.

We designed this poster using our own photo that we took one day during filming. We designed this poster so that it wasn't too revealing, but revealed enough to hype the public for our film, its purpose being more of a teaser poster. At first we wanted it to just be a billboard board banner, but after various discussions we believed it would be best as our main poster for the film Hylophobia, due to its simpleness and effectiveness.

FRIGHTSIGHT PRODUCTIONS - Editing Software Update

We decided to change our editing software from iMovie to Final Cut Pro. We decided that this would be the best option to edit our movie as it's very advanced software costing g over 200 pounds. The advanced technology gives us an upper hand as it provides us with many editing tricks that are not available on most over software.

We created a film schedule so we could plan day by day what we needed to film and we wouldn't lose track of any scenes needed. We filled in each section and arranged our days around this plan. It proved successful as we stuck to it religiously, not missing anything needed to film. One disadvantage to our timetable is that it hasn't got a filming time, therefore it was hard to plan arrangements for what time we'll get to the filming location and often we struggled to get there at the same time because of it.

We had to change the beginning of our storyboard as we are unable to get a car in order to us for the beginning scene. Therefore we have thus decided to replace this scene with a scene where two of the characters are going on a jog through an isolated forest.

FIRGHTSIGHT PRODUCTIONS - Update on what we will be using to film

We decided to change from a Go Pro to an iPhone shortly into filming due to the ease and high quality videos that the iPhone 7 allows us to produce. Due to it’s multi functionally, we could use it to upload blog posts, communicate with each other, share the videos between each other via iMessage, update our social media sites and much more.As well as this, due to us constantly having our phones with us we could capture extra, unexpected footage when we were out and about on our own. Using an iPhone allowed us to easily convert it over to a mac (where we edited out thriller) via Air drop. One issue that we had is that me and Bailey had different iPhones, meaning the quality of the videos would be different. Therefore we agreed it would be best to use just one of our phones rather than both so we could continuously produce top quality videos.

One of the pieces of equipment we are using for filming the opening of our thriller movie is a 'GoPro' I think this is a good piece if equipment because it can be attached either round your body, strapped to your head, stood on a tripod or even just be held. This would be good for the ideas we have for our plot especially as it is in a forest.

We have decided we will be using the software 'iMovie' to edit our video this is because we feel like it is one of the best editing softwares for what we need to do and we think this software will be easy to get use to with making sure we always have continuity because you can cut certain parts out of the video to make sure it fits.
